Who We Are
We are a No-Nonsense health service, and unlike what you’ve experienced before.

Nurse Tiber has incorporated a mountain of researching time to provide hypoallergenic (low allergen, since NO allergen isn’t really possible) products during care. It is crucial to consider products that we expose our bodies to, which can be exhausting. Please be sure to inform us of any and all allergies and sensitivities, even the obscure. Simplification: Proteins and Pollens can be common amongst seemingly random and organically existing items, also called “cross-reactivity”. An example might be a sensitivity to latex which may relate to a sensitivity to kiwi, banana, avocado, or chesnut. The products we use are deliberately chosen to be as hypoallergenic as possible. It is still crucial that every patient disclose all allergies, because completely allergen-free is an impossible feat.
Your Nurse
Tiber has been a nurse for 11 years,
with experience ranging from Specialty and Family Care Clinics, to Residential Memory Care and Inpatient Psych.
He has always been motivated to learn the most possible, for the most holistic (whole, multi-dimensional) approach to healing. He has specific passion for diversity - equity - inclusion, patient education & empowerment, and infection prevention.
Tiber acknowledges the numerous struggles with unecessary barriers in the current medical system, and has made a personal mission out of navigating it creatively. Lower extremity care isn’t going to fix all the problems, but for many patients, it’s a good place to start.
To get him talking, ask him about the engaging Educational Materials he’s created to familiarize healthcare workers and patient families about Dementia and Cognitive Decline.
-Use American Sign Language to communicate? HoH here! You’re in good hands.
-Desafortunadamente, el enfermero ahorita no acepta muchos clientes hispanohablantes, si no hablan espanglish. Las formas de pacientes nuevos aún no han sido traducido.
What is a Licensed Practical Nurse?
An “LPN” is a State-Licensed Nurse (different from ‘Registered’ Nurse “RN”), operating under their own license, having completed the National Council Licensure Examination “NCLEX” with the State(s) they are licensed under. Licensed Nurses do not perform all of the same duties as an RN, and are often tasked with more patients of lesser acuity, to lighten the load of RNs and “Prescribers” (MD, DO, ARNP). An LPN can partner with an RN or carry out a Prescriber’s plan of care. At Dark Side Foot Care, Nurse Tiber has partnered with an RN specializing in Gerontology, to collaborate on patient cases and care plans for more complex cases. This way, your care will be monitored by two licensed healthcare providers throughout your care with Dark Side Foot Care, LLC. Nurse Tiber is happy to communicate directly with your Prescriber, which requires your written consent.
Do We Accept Insurance?
We wish it was possible!
We believe that in this system, any quality nurse would love to take insurance to be more accessible. Unfortunately, in Washington State, nurses are not on the short list of care providers who can bill insurance (unless they are a Nurse Practitioner)! If you really can’t afford it, there are typically services available within your county, which use a different healthcare licensure (a healthcare entity) for billing.
If our services are inaccessible to you, Dark Side Foot Care is open to specific trade, such as service for referrals and photos for promotions.
